Died in 2004 at the age of 52.

He played Superman in the movies I~IV from 1978 to 1987.
１９７８年から１９８７年までスーパーマン役を演じる。

私生活においては、落馬事故による脊髄損傷、首から下の身体麻痺と闘うことで、多くの人に勇気を与え、希望を捨てないことを身を以て教えた人でもある。
